"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

He was a freaking wall!

More importantly, the guys in front of him were doing a really good job of getting bodies on zeros. Not many clean shots, had zero state.

There were some anxious moment in the third when we just couldn't clear out the puck and the puck was just sliding back and forth across the crease. No zero state sticks to pop the puck in, though.

POOCH PUCK LIVES!

LONG LIVE POOCH PUCK!!!

Zero State stepped it up a lot in the third, but thankfully, we were equal to the task!! Gotta give EVERYONE'S defensive skills a LOT of credit!

DAMN THAT WAS FUN!!!! :supz:

So you kind of have to wonder why he didn't make the Captain's poll if he has been CCHA Goalie of the week 3 times!!

For the season, his numbers are getting better, but they are not great. Also remember we had some pretty ugly scores during the first half of the season. The first time he got GOTW, was a 2-2 tie at zero state, where the shots were probably greatly inflated (just look at the difference in shots last weekend). After his performance last weekend, he definately will start to get noticed by other teams.

Awesome job and keep up the hard work.
