If whoever ends up writing a "newsletter" wants to use any of my former player writeups from BGSUsports.com, be my guest! I think it would be a priority to focus on the opponent at hand, but if the space was there, a lesson in BG history could be cool, too. That and the media guide (a .pdf file on the official site) has an outstanding "On this date..." type section. Having a mention of "This week in 19xx... BG did this" could be cool.
As far as funding, I'd wonder if Kinko's would give a price break if they got a free ad placed in the corner or something, perhaps even some kind of coupon. I remember them doing things like that in the BG News when I was in school, I'd think getting it for free would be a nice incentive for them.
Resurrect the Bugle...

A funny sidebar to the whole Buelah's Bugle story was that one of the main contributors was a former student working in the SID's office. Through his connections we were able to get a small bit of recognition at falcon football games.
If any of you remember the old scoreboard, it had a scrolling message line on it. After BG would score and complete the point after attempt, the message would read about three times "The PAT is Good!" After the third showing of it, the initials "BB" would then appear all by themselves for a second or two which stood for Buelah's Bugle. Those in the know would always get a good chuckle out of it.
Even funnier was that after he was not in the SID office anymore, the BB would continue for another year or two as whomever was in charge of the message board had not changed the program.
