Attention all club hockey players, with the apperance that so many players are quitting the program, the varsity team well have open tryouts next week since they can't put a whole team on the ice with the limited amount of players still left on the team.

you know a couple of years ago, a buddy of mine who was on the club team said they almost got in a fight with the varsity guys because a bunch of girls left the varsity party to go to a the club party. So ever since then their has been tension between the club and varsity. Hey it's not the club teams fault that they actually win. Don't get ur panties in a bunch and relax this was just a joke to lighten the mood on here.
Some guys from varsity have actually opted to play club. Most recently Roger Leonard and Jim Tudor. Leonard then went on to the ECHL after finishing his career on the club team. Although our club team is DII they play a handful of decent teams.
I believe there is a rule that if a school has varsity hockey they can not also field a DI club team.
Roger went and played club becuase he got kicked off the varisty team. Dont' kid yourself even as bad as this team is doing they would still beat the club team. Also I don't remember any girls ever leaving the varsity hockey party to go to club party, unless we made them leave.
I dont think the club team would beat the varsity nor would anyone on the club team think that. The point is that they are trying to make is that if you or anyone other varsity player played on the club team you wouldnt be getting 3 g notes a night.
