Page loses his stick and puck slips into the net. Falcons beaten 2-1.

it seems like that is a common quote around Falcon Country. You know what, in the CCHA there are very few points every year that sepparate the top teams from the bottom ones at years end, but as long as Pooch is around, we will always be playing good enough to win, but finishing 12th. Too much talent has been wasted in his coaching tenure.

We are always playing well enough to beat 45 and older mens league teams, just not good enough to beat college hockey teams.

Most games we just cant get those 5 bounces we need to beat a team 5-4.

Even for some of us that love hockey this team is not really that fun to watch. I'd rather watch the Bluejackets lose on TV than watch BG in person right now.

OK. I'm a little drunk now and more than a little punchy, but losing by only a 2-1 score sounds like cause for a party. Pass me another beer. .. burp ... It's just like I'm back in BG.

I was happy to hear my boy Wardo calling the game tonight, sounded like a natural.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Ditto. I thought Wardo did fine. Give him a few more games to call and we'll all think he's a veteran.
