it amazes me the lengths many kids will go to in order to get the most out of their gift to play hockey. And to think after all that sacrifice and effort to earn everything, many of them are so down to earth. It's cool.

That was an awesome article by Derek!! It's so neat to read their personal stories and to be able to appreciate what they went through to get where they are now!
