Ban the hijackers!!!

I'm sick to death of the constant thread hijacking on this site.

It dosen't matter what the topic starts out to be, within a few posts one or more of the 'usual suspects' turns it in to another "Pooch Sucks" thread.

I think the moderators have handled this all wrong. Instead of shutting down the thread, there ought to be ONE specific "FIRE POOCH" thread, and any/all coach bashing posts that appear on other threads should be deleted/moved to that thread. The 'hijacker' should be warned, suspended then banned if he persists.

FreddiethefalconBG (and those who share his low opinion of our coaching staff) have every right to voice their opinions...but we've heard all they have to say. For them to continue to butt in on OUR unrelated discussions is just downright RUDE. It's like have 85 channels on your TV, but no matter which station you select, they're all showing the same episode of Gilligans Island...and worse yet, it's an episode without Mary Ann.

I don't want to sticky it b/c I don't want it to look like it's a position I'm endorsing....

As I've constantly preached here, the ONLY way to effectively silence those who hijack and annoy is to ignore them and not give them the rile they're after. Banning them only brings them back under different usernames and gives them one more thing to bitch about.

In all honesty, it's not the "hijackers" that cause the issues, it's the reaction they get from those who don't agree with them. If they came on here, posted their opinion and got NO response, do you think they'd be back? Maybe once or twice more until they realized it was falling on deaf ears... but then they'd be gone.

It happens and has happened in virtually every forum.

Sometimes silence really IS golden...

Yes, I realize there is a 'fire the coach' thread, and that's part of my point. Check that thread out, you'll see there's been NO posts there since early December. I've seen PLENTY of other cases where you've redirected (say)football topics away from the hockey board...why is this any different?

They've got their forum, what gives them the right to butt in to every other topic. I stand my ground: their behavior is inexcusably rude, and your arguement that's its MY fault because I won't roll over and just ignore them is beyond weak.

You will continue to read postS of getting rid of Paluch. This sight is about BG hockey. Our program is in serious trouble and he is the reason why. I will not stop posting on this matter until he is fired!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You people do not realize what he does to ruin hockey for guys. Our team is a joke. we are the laughing stock of college hockey and he is the reason why. I know a lot players around all the division 1 leagues and they all tell me that BG is a joke to everyone. That is real great isn't it?

Yes I do have an internal ignore button and it works quite well. I have just chose to ignore it when it comes to "freddiethefalconBG" because he continually repeats himself. When he adds something new, maybe I'll choose to ignore him. Until then, I'm still waiting for him to answer a question posed to him in a thread. I know he won't answer because he will make himself look bad. It's ok. *shnip* So keep posting "freddiethefalconBG" you're really making yourself look awesome in every post.
