A sad set of losses, but the team is playing competitve

We lost, but we are competitive and shooting the puck and making plays.
i am looking forward to this weekends home stand against state and like our chances of picking a point and some more positive mojo.

Like it or not, when this unit is now whole you just can not deny that we are competitive and better than ranking. The truth is we faced a great deal of adversary this season, and we could over come being deficit those key team players and the ranking are just reflective of that situation.
This team will finish well, and better yet streak up the rankings, to lofty airs were Falcons once flew and owned the sky! The corner has been fully turned now that we are healthy.

Macman I like how optimistic you are I guess I just dont see to many positives out there.

Being competitive (losing by a reasonable margin) in high school, college, and pro usually shouldnt be enough. I guess everyone goes home happy, Ferris with a 5-2 win, and us because the game wasnt a blowout.

If we are going to improve we cant just be competitive with the next to last team in the conference. This weekend should be a split at worst. Someone recently posted that a few years back a .500 hundred season was cause for major concern, now we are so brainwashed that a sweep to the 11th place team Ferris St. is a relitively good weekend.

There are 43 cars competing at Daytona today, all consider themselves competitive.
The truth is that only the Winner and the dead will be remembered this time next year. Our hockey program is disdained by the other "competitive" teams in the league, we are what we are, #12.

the reason a .500 season was a cause for major concern was because college hockey was nowhere near what it is today in terms of competitiveness..especially in the CCHA, remember when ohio state and notre dame were awful in the early to mid-90s? all it takes is an administration to decide that hockey is one of the main sports they want to see be successful and right now ours doesn't see it that way
