Falcon Hockey: Season Outlook
Well, surprised no one has come up with this thread yet so I'll start. How does everyone think we'll fair in the upcoming season and where would you all like to improvements at on ice? An ST article mentioned the offense not being too stellar last year. Last years win over Windsor wasn't too impressive , but maybe they'll do better tomorrow. I'll probably head over there to check em out. The fall & winter BG sports season is nearly upon us!

There is very little you base this year on from last year. the only part you can is about the last 4 weeks or so when the whole team was in near good health.
That said our out look is quite good. It will be a very productive season. In 25hrs we will be underway. Our team is great shape to gt points on the board, our d is good shape to keep quality shots low, and our goalie situation is improved, spratt is looking and so does Nick. Unice has played in 3 games to now and has 3 wins and has a goals against average of 1.31. Nick is nearly on the same level as unice and my guess is we will see a similar lack of point by the opposition with Eno and Sprat this year as unice is doing. our net minding is solid again.

I can't see us winning more than 4-5 CCHA games and 8-9 games overall. The overall talent just isn't there, and the loss of Matsumoto is going to be hard to fill. I really hope guys like Svendsen, Kontola etc. can have good years. Having scoring depth is going to be really key for any success this year, and of course if Spratt can continue to build on last year. It's gonna be really tough though.

AS an indicator windsor lost to State 6-0 State had 48 shots on goal and Windsor had 11
We will finish with about 14 wins, the same 120+ goals for, but our goals against will be GREATLY improved from the 147 lastseason to a reasonable high 90's and honestly I think its likely to better than that as that is what drilled us last season. this team is really in great shape for this year and going forward, last year was a fluke.
