Like you on friday, I thought we were dead on the ice but pulled out a thrilling win and ended up sweeping UNMK so you never know. It's hockey, you could get a funny bounce on the ice and catch some breaks, we seemed to do so against UNM. Now UNM is no ND, but still the fact remains.

GO ICERS!!
Do not let NMU's slow start deceive you. There league season has so far been a split with Michigan, a shootout loss and a loss to MSU, and 2 losses to ND. The ND games were decided by 1 goal and 2 goals. Their record looks horrible, but they've had a brutal schedule. NMU had about the same start last year, starting 2-10 in the league. Don't write them off as "just NMU." We earned everything we got this weekend. There was no funny bounce, fluke type goal that decided anything this weekend. Anytime you manage more than 90 shots on a goalie and only score 4 goals, the pucks aren't bouncing your way.
