It won't happen. I think the casual fan base for hockey realizes by now that we are no match for ND right now. Most will probably stay home and watch it on tv.

I thought the college games on the NHL network were only on in Canada.

Well, I saw this on, and I ordered the NHL network just for this game. I can shell out $6/month for a BG hockey game. That'll do. Heck, it's more than Vs. ever put on. They seemed to find a way to broadcast every other CCHA team last year, but no BG. Punks.

Thanks NHL Network and Dish!

Gee, are you speaking from experience? Hockey still consistently out draws men's basketball. I wonder why?

Come to a few games before you make stupid comments.

Well I think the attendance will be good. I don't we have any chance whatsoever of winning, but at this point I'm just looking for our team to play better than they did in the first series. Two more whitewashings might put us into a shell that we don't come out of.

Whoever compared Michigan to Notre Dame, that's just ignorant. We've beaten Michigan twice in 6 tries the last 3 seasons. They have a very hard time playing in BG because they are much more susceptible to our smaller, faster offensive attack. It's all about matchups. We just match up better with Mich than we do against ND. ND's defense is just suffocating, and their guys are big. In our 13 losses I don't remember ever scoring more than 2 goals in a game.

when you say most, you are talking about yourself correct? I thought for the last ND game this year at home attendance was good, why don't you go and help that.

Yeah, I've heard loads and loads of students say they are going--said it will be good to get their minds off of finals for a bit. I hope they do go :) I'm really excited.

Plus, it's not often that BG hosts the #1 team in the country, in any sport. That might be a draw for some folks.

Actually last year i believe we were 1-1 vs the number 1 team in the country. We beat Miami. The year before we were 1-1 when we beat Michigan. Maybe if Jeff Jackson gets sick we can go 1-1 this weekend.
Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.
