Erlenbach Promoted to Manager of Program Services for USA Hockey
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Kevin Erlenbach (Colorado Springs, Colo.), who currently serves as USA Hockey's coordinator of adult hockey, has been promoted to manager of program services within USA Hockey's newly created membership development department. He will begin his new role within the organization on March 1.
Erlenbach has worked in USA Hockey's adult department since January 2006. During that time, he has helped the department reach record registration levels and stage dozens of successful tournaments.
In his new position, Erlenbach will provide education, resources and communication to local USA Hockey member associations to support all aspects of hockey and business operations and help grow and develop hockey participation throughout the United States.
Prior to joining USA Hockey, Erlenbach served as assistant general manager and director of hockey operations at Johnny’s Ice House (Chicago), where he oversaw facility operations, operated a 1,400-player adult hockey league, developed adult skills clinics and instructional leagues and coached youth teams.
A native of Chicago, Erlenbach spent four seasons (2000-04) as the director of marketing and a coaching assistant for the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League. In addition, he also served as an intern in the group sales and marketing department with the National Hockey League’s Detroit Red Wings.
Erlenbach is a 2000 graduate of Bowling Green University and owns a bachelor’s degree in sport enterprise.
