Don't believe them. Because we all know that President Cartwright cut the hockey program at Kent State.
President Cartwright cut the program at Kent State because several of the team members were caught up in a felony hazing charge. After that all of the coaches were let go and no recruits wanted to even look at KSU for hockey, so there wasn't really much of a choice. but from what i've heard from a couple people that i know who were at Kent while she was president is that she was actually VERY supportive of all athletics.
Transfer was being a feces.

I received confirmation from a very reliable source that this is a strange rumor with zero substance. Still, in the back of my mind is the question, "why hasn't the AD taken a shot at the rumors?" Is this a double bluff to get alumni interested? No clue.

I'd say he is ignoring it because there is no substance to it. Each sport has its "supporters" that he talks to and makes sure they are in the know about their programs. I'm sure those B!G $$$ hockey boosters are aware of future plans for Falcon hockey. He's talking, just not to everyone that wants to hear from him.

In the meantime, back to spreading false rumors: After Dr. Cartwright cuts the hockey program, all of the money will be placed into three programs: gymnastics, cheerleading, and the dance team. The gymnastics program will have the main part of the ice arena with the dance team and the cheerleaders getting the areas where the studio ice and the curling ice are.

Are you being a feces again? :smt080

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I feel another reason he hasn't said anything about is because no one in the media is asking him about it

No one in the media has asked him specifically about the program. Nor have they asked him how the Athletic Department plans to put together a budget that is balanced, rather than budgeted at more than $1m in the red at the beginning of the year. It is that question that causes me concern for the program - not just the general rumors.
