God I look so stupid in that picture :x  :-D

Not sure if you heard it from the front row but during the third period every song the band played or song/cheers the PA people played we found a way to put fire pooch into it  we have too much fun some times (multiple Bowling Green.....State University cheers can explain that :-D )

Cincy- Nah...there's nothing wrong with you, as far as I know...:) People standing outside between periods are just more chatty than regular fans, which is how I personally got the questions. I think the chattiness comes from people attempting to stay warm! :)

Great game tonight...and I see someone beat me to the punch posting the "Fire Pooch" sign! GREAT SIGN! I was sitting directly across the ice, so I got some good pictures of it as well as the Seniors sign. Great job putting ALL of the seniors who started the season on there!

GO FALCONS!

What a game! I think that was the best game I've ever seen the team play! It's was truly a complete game, We out-hit MSU, had great puck control and possession, potent offense including powerplay, great defense blocking shots, stopping shots from even happening, and pk work, and Spratt was solid on the limited shots that got through!!

THANKS SENIORS!!!

It seems weird to say it, but our team looked... well-coached. Maybe we shouldn't fire Pooch after all... :-D

(Please don't hurt me, I'm kidding)

Senior nights are always more relaxed from coaches, i.e. not telling players what to do or not to do much! I think the team played how teams should play and weren't stuck with Paluch's poor strategies. I think the team wanted and needed a win on senior night, it's probably going to be one of the few highlights of the season.

If we had a new coach that was inspiring, and had better strategies tonight showed what the team can do. With the right bench boss BG could easily be in the top half of the CCHA, if not top 4. And that doesn't even take into account a new coach that's a recruiting specialist.

Haha, sorry you guys look like crap in the picture! I took several but that was the best one I got of the sign from the front row. And yes, I did hear all the chants in the third period. We tried to join in as many as we could.

I think the guys played amazing tonight. it seemed like every time MSU would steal the puck we would just take it right back. This was the best game I saw this season and it was a nice addition to senior night. I was sad Russ and Maxwell couldn't be there. Mazzei came back to see it and I ran into him at the bar as well. The guys were out celebrating and they were clearly really excited about the win.

I loved Jimmy's goaltending. It was fantastic. So was the shortie by Solway. Fantastic. I wish I could have gotten it on video. Great game.

Yup, two years ago, they were the National Champs! The team I watched last night looked like a team that didn't give a crap. Lackluster effort, poor passing, pathetic checking, and no emotion in that team at all, like they just were going through the motions. Hard to imagine a team falling this far this fast!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

What a great atmosphere last night...I hadn't been to a game in a long time and I was glad to finally see a victory from a Falcon team during the 08-09 school year. I was just out of that picture.

Yeah, they've had some issues with quality players leaving early to play pro before the season (so didn't recruit as hard for this season) and then a few players leaving/suspended, and this weekend they had a short bench due to injury, a few of the players were freshmen getting their first game with longer playingtime and in key situations.

They'll bounce back in a season or two, I believe they already have some key players comming in next season. Hopefully BG will rebound as well and we'll be close to Michigan St. in the standings (much higher up lol).

Their prized recruit for this year, Matt Duchene, ended up playing in the Ontario Hockey League. As of right now he's projected to be a top ten, maybe top five NHL draft pick in June and people are saying he could play in the league next year. He def. would've helped Michigan State's horrendous offense.

Losing Abdelkader and Tim Kennedy hurt them a lot too.
