I know I have read this in here, but I have to say that I think its wrong to use the football venue for all inductees. I would much rather see and feel it FAR more Appropriate that for esp for major sports, those person going to the hall of fame have their accomplishment announced and recognized at their sports venue.

Agreed. Even though he moved on to the egg suckers he was extremely important in advancing BGSU hockey. It's only right that he gets inducted during year 1 of our revival!

I think you're reading waaaay too much into this. The recognition announcement is only made at the football game because it coincides with Hall of Fame weekend when they are actually inducted.
