GETTING BACK TO HOCKEY.......

Looking forward to a season of renewed hoped and enthusiasm!!! Kyle Page has been and will continue to be a fantastic leader for this team! The team is very excited about the upcoming season and just cannot wait to hit the ice!!!!

GO HOCKEY!!!
BGSU HOCKEY FOREVER!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I am really pleased with this news. From my perspective, just a few things to note. I have gotten to meet three of the new lads on the team, Ian Reul, Nathan Pageau, and Andrew Hammond. These lads are awesome, great kids focused on school and absolutely psyched for the season. We are going to surprise teams this year. Can't wait for the season to start. Go Falcon Hockey!

Jim, give us a "HERE THEY COME YOUR BGSU FALCONS"

Is Nathan as skinny in person as he seems in his stats? I'm hoping he spends a lot of time in the weight room.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

This should be a pretty massive emotional turn-around for the team. New coach, no issue of the program's future (realistically,) renovations pending within the time most players will be here, and a general rally of the community behind the program.

I'm very curious what the real mood of the team is with the departure of their past coach and the fuss around things.

everyone still needs to buy tickets or get in touch with Jack's group and commit money ($1K/yr for 5 yrs for those that can) specifically to the hockey program. The team needs not only financial support but physical bodies in the seats. With Jeff Crawford now running the rink (my coach from Pee Wees...weird), there should be some new creative money generation for THE RINK. The hockey team still needs a lot of financial and physical support...

Make it happen!
