Ya know when they rebuild the ice this summer and change the floor and begin the key changes...it would be an ideal time to enlarge our ice surface. I know many do not like big ice, I do, esp the added length and room behind the nets, a few more feet either side is nice too. Big ice hockey is more fun to watch.
So I think about that and some of the other changes and well, it would be nice.
I like Coaches up beat atitude and think with the games under the belt he knows what this team needs to do win. He is dead on, with out team make up, we will not win games taking tons of penalties because we loose the juice to get the puck in the net later.
Our goalies are good enough to beat any team, our o just needs to shoot more.

Not wild about the big ice idea, too little hitting for me. It seems like that would be a huge expense anyway since the concrete bleachers go right down to the boards. How would they find 8 feet on either side of the existing ice to expand?
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

Yeah I don't see the larger ice surface ever happening at BG. At least as long as we're in this rink. I don't think that the people in charge would want to fork over that kind of money to do something that really isn't necessary.
