Bring Back The Glory Auction

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

At the games this weekend, there will be a silent auction which will benefit the Falcon Hockey program. Items will be on display in the lobby during both games. The following items will be up for auction:

Autographed Alexander Ovechkin Jersey
Team Autographed Kevin Bieksa Jersey
Team Autographed New York Islanders Stick
Darryl Sittler Autographed Hockey Stick

More items may be added. Keep checking back to this thread. I'll post if I hear that more items will be put up for auction!!

GO FALCON ICERS!!
SWEEP THE NANOOKS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Add to the list: a framed (18 x 24, I think) autographed poster of Jordan Sigalet (when he was with Providence).

I've got several goodies for the auction:

A Rolling Rock bottle cap (NOT twist-off) indented with Gary Kruzich's teethmarks.

A wristband made from a lock John Markell's hair.

A lime green polyester leisure suit once worn by Mike Hartman.

A wad of tape from Gary Galley's illegal stick.

A mini "tootsie roll" that was thrown at me from the upper bowl at Omaha Arena.

A hermetically sealed jar filled with the wonderfull aroma of those cinnamon roasted almonds they sell at Yost Arena.

A hermetically sealed jar filled with the aroma of sweaty pads and gloves, taken from the first row behind the BG bench.

A vile filled with pink ooze from the goal-post hole-drilling mishap.

A bicycle once used by Jonathon Matsumoto.

A sharpie once used on Bret Pilkington.

Not only is it Hockey Parent weekend, but tonight before the game, is the President's Club reception. This is the organization that recognizes the B!G $$$ donors to the university. The focus/theme for this year's event is "Bring Back the Glory!" All of the Falcon Hockey Alumni were invited back for this. I have heard that approximately 30 players will be here. Everyone attending the dinner were offered tickets for the game tonight. It would be FANTASTIC to see the ice arena with a packed house to show the B!G university donors that WE LOVE FALCON HOCKEY!!!! Please bring your friends and family members to the game tonight so we can ROCK THE RINK!!!

GO ICERS!!!
SWEEP UAF!!!
