Have you guys forgotten that Toledo Tom is coming off the books at the end of this year? Think of all the money UT will be saving in catering costs! That alone may fund a hockey program!

It's been 20 years ago or so, but I asked then AD Al Bohl about UT picking up D-1 hockey, given that the natural rivalries were in place and the city is hockey literate. His short answer was "You can't show me a college program that makes money" ... end of conversation. Not that things haven't changed since then, but at least then varsity hockey was the last thing UT wanted to start.
