An apology plus quarterfinal picks
An apology plus quarterfinal picks
I feel that I owe the great BG fans an apology over last week's column. I won't go into too much on the board because it's all in this week's column, but I'm sorry for bringing up some stuff that was unrelated to last week's CCHA piece and would have been better avoided. Here are this week's picks for those Falcons fans that are interested in the rest of the tournament.

Re: An apology plus quarterfinal picks
Your sorry for what...totally misstating the fact that Falcon hockey is not in jeopardy. ie LYING. Because like your name your focus is MAC sports, not the CCHA or the world of college hockey. This program is not dying ass hole. you need to publish that along with poll based and little of understanding of hockey picks.
Im really interested in seeing an apology to our school, our program and our recruits. DIRECTLY, come out and say it, " Lied about BG hockey because I know squat about hockey."

Ease up, man. No need to get all Miami on us... he made a mistake, he said sorry. The people who follow the CCHA knew the truth regardless.MACMAN wrote:Your sorry for what...totally misstating the fact that Falcon hockey is not in jeopardy. ie LYING. Didn't bother reading this hateful post of yours past the first sentence, but nice location btw. Maybe soon enough you can get around to spelling "government" correctly.MACMAN wrote:Your sorry for what...totally misstating the fact that Falcon hockey is not in jeopardy. ie LYING. Regarding the apology: You aren't apologize for posting blatantly false information? Rather, you apologize for putting the blatantly false information in a post that's supposed to preview some hockey games. We appreciate the coverage but we'd rather you not cover us at all if you won't even bother to do any fact-checking or correct false information.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

The program is safe. People need to ease up a bit. It's disturbing reading some of these posts.

Re: An apology plus quarterfinal picks
Agreed, but I do think that it would be beneficial for MAC fans to read about the B!G impact our hockey fans and alumni had on this significant event. I am sure there are MAC fans out there that are also hockey fans and MAY want to donate to the Bring Back the Glory campaign, even if it's only a small amount!! It cannot hurt to have the information out there for people to read. Many of these people may not visit hockey boards and may find the information surprising as they only heard about the program being eliminated. They may have friends and relatives who are/were Falcon Hockey fans. So...my point is that getting the accurate, most up-to-date information out there, can only help the future of the hockey program!!Tricky_Falcon wrote:The program is safe. Re: An apology plus quarterfinal picks
I got several e-mails about this as well. I think it's a great idea. I'll start something along those lines as soon as hockey and basketball season wind down just because the staff is stretched pretty thin right now. Our readership deserves to know how hard the BG community worked to save this team. It's been an amazing process.Falcon Fanatic wrote:I appreciate the apology (despite MACMAN's much too harsh commentsTheMACer wrote:I feel that I owe the great BG fans an apology over last week's column. This way MAC readers will know the truth!! The links below are a great place to get up to speed on what's going on!!

Re: An apology plus quarterfinal picks
agh...Yes Drew, yes exactly he apologized for nothing and did not do so properly.
FF sorry you find harsh...you have never seen me at a game where the calls are LOpsided.
At any rate we don't need news posts or press from people who clearly don't anything about where the program has been, where it is and where it is going. As for 24 I'll spell it right, when they run it right
