That's exactly what I was saying. I didn't think it was difficult to comprehend but I guess I was mistaken.

Remember those days when it was a boring forum and had only a few postings each week? 8-)
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

My advice to all, if you take offense to a post either ignore it or send a private message to the poster. Keep the chirping at each other out of the threads because it only detracts from the original intent and subject of the threads. (That would also go for personal attacks on current or former coaching staffs. Particularly ones that have nothing to do with the forum in question. It adds nothing to the conversation and, in this case, wasn't even remotely funny, assuming that was the intention.)

Likewise telling people that one thinks a comment to be personally directed, or one's view of what is funny, which is subjective, or topical given that there isn't some magic wall that walls hockey off from the rest of the site or community.

Unless, of course, you actually own and RUN this website and were trying to make a point... then I think it DID add to the conversation and I hope I'm not being scolded for patrolling my own website.... ;-)

I agree that people need to keep the personal stuff personal, and if there's an issue, use the moderate "!" that I mentioned when things were set back live.

I would never scold the owner of I site that I desire to keep using. I just wasn't sure that everyone picked up on your facetiousness.

I'm sure some of them didn't... that seems to be one of the biggest problems on here, some don't sense when others are kidding, and vice-versa. Oh well. Carry on, my wayward son!

Not Falcon news so much, but I learned recently that Alden Hirshfeld Miami, played a good while with MERSA, he just had some of his flesh removed and in the end had he put it off any longer was in jeopardy of loosing his arm the super staff infection. He is out for 6 months.

I hope he's all right. I know Alden well from high school and though I didn't care for him in the games against BG, he'll always be a nice guy.
