Getting out shot 39 - 8 early in the 3rd. Wow.....where is the defense. This could be alot worse the 4 - 1.

Lets get it together boys.

It was a better 2nd period, even 1-1, and shots were 12-6, I think.

Less than 4 minutes left, 4-1 UAF.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I think I saw where the team was outshot 48-12. Ouch. That is a tough weekend. In speaking with one of the former assistant coaches, they said the worst part about going to Alaska is that the players are jet lagged. Not only up there, but also the weekend after. Hopefully they can rest up and be ready for ND.

This is what happens with young, inexperienced teams. Flashes of brilliance followed by not very good. It's all part of the learning curve. Hope we get good crowds for ND. Get the boys pumped up to play the Irish!!

DOnt dispair, we know we are not top 20 team yet, or top 4 in the CCHA. It would have been nice to win one but we all know were not there yet.
