Our best chances came on our 4-on-3 and then 5-on-4... They said we only had one SOG during that time but sitting behind the goal it looked like more.

Despite the crappy score, we had a good time sitting with the BG people around us. Next to BGFan was one of our recruits that will come in several years from now. Reed Whiteside is our youngest recruit; 15 year old sophomore from Trenton, Michigan. Very nice kid!! Looking forward to watching him play, but we'll have to wait since he'll be in the juniors for awhile!

Oh, yeah and met Musicman too!! Nice to meet you too!!!!

Crappy score, yes, but an enjoyable trip. Wish my first away game could have been a win, but I'll take one tomorrow. Hopefully I can get up there! Nice to meet Falcon Fanatic and BGFan!

I'm not one to harp on officiating much because I'm a basketball official and I know there's a huge difference between what is seen court (ice) level and the stands, but they were pretty awful tonight... Some questioning penalties on us that I truly didn't see and some pretty obvious ones on UM that weren't called. I also do not think it was very professional for the officials to be interacting with the UM student section when they came out on the ice during the 2nd intermission.
