Is there another phase of the arena renovation?

Does anyone know if there is another phase of the arena renovation coming up this year? And if so, what?

Yes, they are replacing the ice starting in two weeks!!!

They replace the ice every spring as part of their regular maintenance.

Phase 2 won't be this summer. Instead they are essentially finishing up phase 1. What I've heard is that there will be some improvements made to the skate shop (making it sort of, or closer to a pro shop), among other things (of which I don't have a list). The last I heard, phase 2 is supposed to start next summer.

My understanding is that Phase II was to include things like additional seats or special seats at the south end, potential chairbacks throughout the arena, upgrades to the pressbox, new scoreboards, etc. I do not think that they have raised much money yet, which will certainly delay any project work.

Phase 2 would actually focus on the lobby and club lounge areas. Phase 3 would see the cosmetic changes inside the actual arena.

What you are referring to as Phase II, is actually the final expenditures from the Phase I money. Phase II dollars (which have yet to be raised) will focus on the interior upgrades. Not to split hairs, but I think that it is important for folks to fully understand the situation, and not be holding their breath for the larger interior changes.
