You should have mentioned that Dan Bylsma is wearing his BGSU jersey in the pic!!!! :supz:

I will be wearing my favorite brown #8 jersey that Coach York gave us (Findlay Falcon and I) when he brought Kevin Dahl and Thad Rusieki to Findlay to meet our deaf students (who wrote letters and made posters for the team) back in the '86-'87 season.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."
~~USCHO Poster
"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It's been a wonderful conversation starter and gives me a chance to talk about how great BGSU is and the game of hockey in general. I was talking to some gents from India this morning and they want to go to a game now.

Hockey could be the key to world peace! :-D

Another article on Dan Bylsma (and his GM), including two additional pics of Dan in his BG jersey! Not surprising that his son, Bryan has the number 21!

Kudos to guy wearing a BG practice jersey at the 0:17 mark! Anyone know who he is?

A great weekend of hockey spent in Shaker Heights for a hockey tournament in which my Son's team from Columbus won the Mite level championship.

Also lost a tooth on the first shift of the first game.

Really glad they wear orange uniforms.
