We drew NMU again? I don't like that matchup. We came into their house last year and caught them napping...I very much doubt that's going to happen this time around. They're out for revenge.
Would've much rather drawn a different opponent for the playoffs this year.

Agree. But we are better team this year, so we'll see. As Coach has said before, "It is what it is." I am thinking we will go 3 games, but the outcome....hard to say with their home ice advange this year (which is a big factor). The good news is that their students are on spring break that weekend. Northen just swept us a few weeks ago and we know it's difficult to win 4 games against any one team in this league, especially this year. Ordinarily I wouldn't agree with a take that says we're better than a year ago, seeing as we were last for a 2nd year in a row...but...the CCHA was a much, much stronger conference this year than a year ago. The chance is definitely there for a first-round victory. Getting game 1 will be crucial...over the last two seasons BG has traditionally played far better on the first night of series than the 2nd. Game 3, well that's a toss up if it comes down to it.
