His postgame quote on Twitter:
"Few words can describe how bad I felt after letting in the third goal and even fewer words can describe how it feels now."

Hope he and DeSalvo still have a few bottles of magic left, this is a lot of fun! \:D/

Hammy was a goalie possessed after giving up that third goal. He wasn't going to let anything past him after that.

Congratulations to the players and coaches! THIS is Falcon Hockey, puppies, and we are at the cusp of "what once was."

The Ill-Tempered Woodland Creatures of Ann Arbor won't have an easy time with a team which simply refuses to quit. I, personally, have never seen a team with such determination at any level.

What I really enjoyed was watching Bergeron shake hands with the Ferris players. It doesn't matter what the color of the jersey, he truly cares for the hockey players.

Zeus, this is a great feeling.

Haha, I think that's a bit of a stretch given a 14-23-5 record, but it shows that we are gaining respect from the rest of the hockey world nonetheless, so I'll take it!

I wonder when the last time a team with a sub .400 winning percentage received votes this late in the year.

I think its recognition of the whole second half of the season as a whole. This team has defeated Ohio State, Western Michigan, Notre Dame, Michigan, NMU and Ferris State, all who were ranked, in a two month period. I think its a deserved votes regardless of what record is. 8-10-2 since January 1 and 4-2 in the CCHA playoffs is all that matters right now.

Oh I wish I had the quote of those toolbox announcers when they were wondering if Ferris' next opponant prepared differently if Ferris beat BG 3-0 or 10-0. Check the scoreboard chumps!!!

I do not like to rub wins in the losers face, but these guys brought in on themselves.

I will now go back to winning gracefully

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Any chance of hearing the call with WBGU commentators? I'm glad we have video of the highlights, but I'd rather hear an announcer who is biased in BG's favor haha.
