Although we are improving and hopefully headed in the right direction, there are not many "9th place team" coaches that get consideration for COY.

I agree with Factman. We're heading in the right direction but we didn't earn a home playoff series and didn't finish in the top tier of the conference. He'll get it next year in the WCHA.
