Ron Fogarty
Ron Fogarty
Several sources are reporting that former BG asst (and current head coach at D3 Adrian) Ron Fogarty is interviewing today for the head coaching job at Lake Superior State.
Du hockey comme dans le temps!
Re: Ron Fogarty
Just reading their thread on USCHO. That job could be career suicide. Could also be the stepping stone needed to make a jump to a bigger program, IF whoever the coach is can survive a few seasons.

He will be successful wherever he goes. Period! I told him that I hope he gets the job but would hate rooting against him when we'd play against him!pdt1081 wrote:Just reading their thread on USCHO. "Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Oh, I agree. But if it's there, I think it's going to need to be a quick turnaround and jump. Even the fans up there are fighting with each other. It doesn't sound like a very good place for a coach to go.Falcon Fanatic wrote:He will be successful wherever he goes. Period!
