Connor Ford commits

Post by poltergeist »

1998 RW, shoots L.

Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U18 --> Shattuck St. Mary's Prep
Drafted by the Madison Caps in the USHL Phase I Futures Draft, traded to the Sioux City Musketeers.

OTB said this about him a year ago:

"Another 1998 that could pick up more recruiting heat this season is Pittsburgh Penguins Elite product Connor Ford, who played up at U18 hockey this winter and didn’t look out of place at all. At 6’0~ with a good frame, he looks like a future college hockey player on the ice and plays like one too, as Ford seems to have a measured, power forward style game with some offensive upside at the next level."

Shattuck? Damn, that's some serious recruiting. People are definitely noticing what this coaching staff is doing.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

Huge get, Shattuck turns out NHL-caliber talent every year. With Berg's new contract he's able to sell stability and recent success and recruits are noticing.
