nice job by SirPeaches to introduce the program and the town (even with the unfortunate reference to chlamydia).

I read through it twice and did not see any reference to the std. :smt017

I do take exception to being called "Essentially a small Toledo suburb".....really??? Perrysburg, Maumee and Sylvania are small Toledo suburbs. We're a stand alone town! PERIOD!

I do like this, however: "In Bowling Green, it would be perfectly reasonable to move onto campus, get an education, then graduate, move a mile or two down the road, start a family and live for the rest of your life." This is what happened to us. We moved back to town (summer of '83), so BGFan could finish his bachelors degree and we never left! Raised two kids here and have no plans to leave...ever.

Overall, not a bad little review of the school and town.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

really? consider yourself lucky. (it's under 'Random Trivia'.)

as pointed out in the comments, he also missed a few notable Greatest Players. still, a fun read.

waiting for October... Go Falcons!

Not bad. He made up the part about the origin of the Bowling Green name, and I think Freddie and Frieda are brother and sister. Only in BG, KY would she also be his bride.
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
