I agree with the huntington center comment. I also did not see hockey john there and that kind of bummed me out as there was a few of us wondering where he was. I also wondered where the refs were on goalie running but we are just used to the refereeing in this league. I thought my buddy was going to blow a blood vessel on that second run that knocked Nell out of the game. Hopefully our last appearance at the Huntington Center we haven't won there ever and i don't like to do anything that supports the walleye and i live 5 minutes from there. I have never been to a game of theirs and it ticks me off that they counted me in their attendance when I was gone. Roll along.

Take down the Golden Knights.

Falcon 54,

I was there as I have been for the last 40 years supporting Falcon Hockey. I agree that I do not like having games at the Huntington Center, but I don't control the schedule. You and Apollo can whine and complain about every little thing. I will choose to enjoy the season and support the team.

Happy New Year to all Bowling Green State University FANS!

Go BG Hockey!

Yeah!!!! No conversation on the message board unless it's about how great the team is....this hockey board doesn't even discuss the games or team anymore. It's just positive articles, score updates, and bitching about the referees.

Maybe the new year (and Clarkson's .890 save percentage) will bring some goal scoring to the team.

How was the crowd? I imagine the theory here is that, with the students gone, why not make this as easy as possible for Toledo residents to watch and see if Bowling Green hockey build a new tradition? They tried the same thing by playing football against Buffalo in Columbus Crew Stadium a few years back. I have no problem trying these thing now and again and seeing if we can make it work.

I am not complaining about our team John. I love our team and i am there every game also. I don't blast our team but i do blast the refs. Most of all i bash the walleye and anything to do with that organization. I can't stand the president, the gm or the huntington center, Reread my post about my friend blowing a blood vessel and think who is really loud around our seats at the arena and you will know who this is. I have nothing but love and admiration for our program. Maybe sergot could have got the calls right last night.

I am sorry 54, but I took your comment about not seeing me there negatively and as a put down. People like Apollo always see the negative in everything and it gets tiring hearing it all of the time. I could buy and listen to Apollo's opinions if there was a positive comment or two once in a while. People who complain all of the time rarely get there opinions heard. I guess that I will have to be like others and place Apollo on ignore,

we were stuck in section 116 and we thought you would be there. The people that sit behind you toward the aisle i don't know their name but they asked us if we had seen you and i said no. I know erika was not in her seats she sat two sections over cause my wife saw her but she had said her seats were section 116. But i think they had us scattered all over. I am currently watching the game on vod since i live in toledo and my wife works at buckeye cable. I would never put you down , i enjoy our section and talking to you at the rink.

Our seats were in 103 in the corner. There were many fans assigned in sections 102 - 105. There were a few others from our section in 103. Thank goodness that we are back in the Ice Arena for Saturday and Sunday.

I did hear your friend and yelled in support of him, but you didn't hear me.

Just to clear it up: on the play that took Nell out of the game he wasn't "ran." The WMU player got tripped by a BG stick, went horizontal, and his skate struck Nell in the side of the mask.

The first hit on Nell, however, was borderline.

My theory on seating is the Walleye assigned BG fans to seats that had not been sold for the Walleye game. Walleye fans with tickets purchased in advance could then sit in the same seats for the BG game.

I finally had time to watch the replay.

The player actually jumped into the air to go horizontal. Had he only been tripped, he would've been on the ice when he hit Nell, not 3 feet in the air. Yes, there was contact with a BG player. But that contact wasn't an upward movement to throw his feet in the air. He jumped, trying to make contact. Only was it could be said it was accidental would be if they hadn't ran him previously. It was rather obvious the players were instructed to make as much contact as possible.
