"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I see no reason not to. They can win with Burke in net. If Murphy isn't injured, he should be in as well.ffejfalcon wrote:Big game Saturday! Think CB gives Burke the nod in goal per Senior night? Hoping that Murph dresses and gives his effort of the year!

I wonder why they can't play like they did in the 3rd more often.pdt1081 wrote:That was a battle. Glad to see the guys didn't give up. The postseason could be fun if they can play entire games like they did the third period. That powerplay goal......that was just pretty.

Burke no, Murphy maybe.ffejfalcon wrote:Big game Saturday! Think CB gives Burke the nod in goal per Senior night? Hoping that Murph dresses and gives his effort of the year!
I've been asking myself why Baylis has been playing, and he goes and does that.
Re: BG vs Ferris State
Nell in goal. Even though it's Senior night I agree with this move. Too important of a game to switch up goalies. Maybe Burke can play the last few minutes if we hold a big enough lead.
Re: BG vs Ferris State
Ferris scores first on another short handed goal. Wow, we must be leading the nation on giving up short handed goals.
Re: BG vs Ferris State
BG up 3-2, 14:00 remain. Bring it home Falcons
Re: BG vs Ferris State
BG now up 4-2!!!
Re: BG vs Ferris State
Falcons win. Secure at least #3 seed. Northern tied. Tech won in OT. BG and Tech still tied for 2nd.
Re: BG vs Ferris State
5 goals in the 3rd period

A lot of great things about the weekend and last night's game.
The seniors! (and their parents)
The crowd on Saturday.
Scott Paluch in the house. Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!
All the glass that didn't spontaneously break.
