Amazing Sigalet story in the BG News tomorrow!!

Post by Metz »

Just as the title says! Our editor-in-chief wrote the article and the design on the front of the sports page looks great. Everyone make sure to get a copy and I'll post the link to the PDF when it becomes available!

All the white space we had was a little 1 column 1" high space but I put a Vote Jordan Sigalet for the Hobey Baker Award and the website in it.

Too bad the online version doesn't have the same "split" picture as the paper version... it's pretty sweet.

Great Article

Carrie really did a nice job with this article. It was a different direction from where everybody and their brother was taking it repeating the same facts over and over again. I really liked how she used his mom and went with the whole hospital situation. In mine, I didn't quite get that indepth and just got the facts out of Dr. Wojo and didn't really go with the family approach. I really liked that approach to it

Hence the reason I originally said I'd post the link to the PDF of the entire paper.

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Keep this one in your portfolio McMetz, one of the best overall layouts for a page I've seen.

That's typical pre-med flute player to you. :P

No, but really though, I guess I just missed the "to the PDF" when you said you'd post the link. *shrugs*

And now, back to your regularly scheduled BG hockey discussion...
