They had about 15 tires over there around Thanksgiving. Some of the old netting from the tennis courts just laying on the ground. Unless you past the ice arena towards the new tennis courts or soccer field you wouldn't notice it but it's trashy. They could clean it up, make it another parking lot, replant grass. Put up a fence around all the trash dumpsters. And I agree about the parking spots narrow. I think they made them 2 inches narrower.
That's kind of no-man's land between Athletics and Grounds. Athletics will say it's Grounds responsibility and Grounds will say it's Athletics. It's really messed up because departments within the University bill each other for work performed. There's a lot of consolidating of resources and contrition that's happened in the past few years, and nobody wants any extra expense against their budget. The University could probably approach Greek Life and ask for some volunteer hours and get it all cleaned up in a weekend.

Athletics has NO grounds crew any more. It all falls under the campus operations, as it has for the past year or so. Seems to be a plus for athletics, as campus ops have a lot more manpower and equipment to get things done, like field preparation etc.
As I understand it, athletics has to put in work orders to get projects done. Certainly don't know all of the details.
