End of 2, BG leads 3-0. Shots are 28-7, BG.

After each ref got an earful from an assistant coach at the end of the 1st period, Bergeron finally yelled something at one of the refs and miraculously, BG had 4 powerplays in a row.

BG wins 3-1. At least one of our programs won today.

With the win tonight the Falcons remain in 1st place for another 6 days. BG is off next week so more than likely Minneosta State will pass BG. Minnesota State only 1 point behind BG and they play UAH twice next weekend. In fact, BG could find themselves in 3rd place this time next weekend.

I'm mistaken. I thought Northern only played once next weekend. I see the 2nd game now. Correct, if Minnesota State, Tech and Northern all sweep BG will be in 4th.

We would be tied with Northern Michigan and still have 4 GAMES in hand on Tech so I would say we were not as bad as your negative ways state.

Life must be miserable for you as you rarely see anything positive. Can't we just enjoy that they played a complete game tonight.

Actually life is extremely well. Have a wonderful family. Healthy family. Wonderful Falcon friends. I understand about the games in hand. I was just simply pointing out that with us not playing next weekend we could go from first to what could be a tie for fourth. Our past few games of only getting 1 point rather than 3 put us in that situation. Sorry if you don't like reality. We are still in great position to finish 2nd. If Minnesota State slips up we could finish 1st. But as of now we could conceivably still be in a tie for fourth this time next week.

I thought Casey Linkenheld played well last night. Showed good puck sense, made some nice passes in the offensive zone, had some good scoring chances. He made the most of the opportunity. Interesting that he wasn't the only one with little playing time this year to see ice time last night.

Actually, reality is we could be in a tie for third with Northern, not fourth. Sorry, that is the reality. Yes, they have been inconsistent. Reality is also that Northern only got a split at home last week against Alabama-Huntsville.

With the way the team played Friday, I wasn't surprised. Sucks to only have 5 healthy defensemen.

I was thrilled to finally see Bergeron stand up for his players DURING a game. This handling crap after games are over obviously isn't working. It's a shame it only lasted for one period.
