I’m not watching tonight, but I’m following on Twitter.

The bad? Being down 3-0 against the worst team in college hockey.

The good? We just tied it up and have a chance to essentially steal this game if we win the third.

Now THAT is how you come back in a game. Final 7-3 BG wins it.

You, me and a lot of others, I'm guessing. Maybe this signals the start of a new era -- where those kinds of games don't happen.

So, that turned out interesting. I had to quit watching halfway through the second. Huntsville reminded me of the way BG played when Bergeron first got here. Everything to the boards and slow the game down. BG isn't built for that now. The ending shows why that style doesn't work for long, and happened to BG a lot back then.

It's hard to beat a team four times.
I missed the first four minutes or so, but BG seemed to be dominating. When down 0-3 I said to Mrs. Bg84, "Minny State knows how to take care of business. BG doesn't." Maybe we do, but I'm not letting my hopes get too high given what's happened in so many recent seasons.

I was trying to figure out what was going wrong but couldn't. Not the goals--on two of them we left a player alone in front of the net. Huntsville was all over us, and we seemed perplexed. Some standing around and some gripping the sticks too tightly, as the saying goes. Our boys had lots of SOG but weren't in the game. Finally, after our second goal we resumed playing hockey.

I couldn't catch much of the game but saw the first goal. Guy wide open in front, almost the exact scenario as RIT's OT goal in the Ice Breaker. It's like there's a defensive brain cramp that hits the team every so often.

I was able to watch the rest of the game last night. BG started scoring goals when they took Huntsville's game away from them. Quick puck movement didn't allow Huntsville to grind it out along the boards. Huntsville has had a very frustrating year. Obvious by the two ten minute misconducts in two minutes.

This Huntsville team would lose to several D3 programs.
