and my fingers are crossed that the 58 coaches vote Jordan AND Jonathan into the final 10.

Hats off to all the BGSU fans who got up everyday and voted the Sigalets into 1st and 3rd place.

But hats off and a round of cheers to the Sigalet brothers for a season well played.

Now lets win the CCHA Tournament and get that automatic bid into the NCAA.

Ahhh.. green beer day. Quite infamous at Miami when I was there. The bars open at 5:30 AM and start serving Green Beer. It was originall associated with St. Paddy's, but the university shifted their Spring Break to cancel out St. Paddy's when I was there.... So green beer day was born.

Being a grad student during my time at Mother Miami, I stayed away from Green Beer/St. Paddy's Day. The rumor/reality was that the University, campus police and town police took a pretty dim view of the festivities. No atypical for a few arrests for public intoxication to occur. I also heard stories about Prof's setting Mid-term exams (no make-ups permitted without medical reason signed by an MD) on those days as to reduce participation.

But this is a Hockey thread - so GO ICEERS!!

I listened to both the Miami and BG games Saturday night. Miami skated to a 1-1 tie with OSU. The goons were playing their normal style of hockey, but Miami stuck with them. My dream this year - BG and Miami in the CCHA championship game. BG wins.
