It was a great effort, but BG drops this one 2-1.

Aggregate for the weekend was 4-4, so I think we can be happy with our effort in a road split at the #17 team in the country.

We’ll be home again for our first ever series with St. Thomas next weekend.

I thought we were going to struggle to compete this weekend. We hung in there tonight except for that 4 minute brain fart at the end of the second. Stoever looked good and the team played pretty well in front of him. I don't think Rose would have had much luck on those two goals. Lots of freshmen getting ice time, I see why Eigner wanted to bring them in for the season. Are most of these kids Maco recruits?

Still not expecting a league championship, but I don't think I'm on thin ice by raising my expectations a tad. Quick...someone check the pairwise!!!

Well, I said going in that I would take a split gladly. More than happy to leave there with the 3 points.

Bemidji is a really good, veteran team. This is a big split for BG and a new group of guys.

Now they gotta take advantage of a brand new St. Thomas team and get 6 points at home next weekend.
