Re: Offseason 2022
D Eric Parker is heading to camp with the New York Rangers this summer. Should be a great opportunity for him, and hopefully he is able to pick up a few things to bring with him this fall.

To add onto this, Austen Swankler is heading to Nashville for camp with the Preds this summer.

Perfect, I was hoping a full list would come out at some point.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 3:44 pm Here's the full list from Corey Crisan on Twitter.

Gotta love Blake and Emerson getting in with the Kings. Wonder who is pulling the strings behind the scenes over that way?

Re: Offseason 2022
I'm hoping that Eigs is leveraging every ounce of his relationship with Rob and Nelson. Great opportunity to tell recruits that yeah, if you come to Bowling Green you're guaranteed to get a look from the NHL.
Really like seeing Parker and Swanks land a spot. Vinnell is a bonus as a transfer in. Stoves is a double bonus.
Thanks for posting this JP, I was about to ask the group if they'd heard anything.

No problem. Surprised to not see anyone going to Washington or Vegas given the connections with MacLellan and McPhee.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 3:59 pm I'm hoping that Eigs is leveraging every ounce of his relationship with Rob and Nelson. Re: Offseason 2022
Seeing as Malmstrom was the only player invited to an NHL camp last year, this is very good to see.jpfalcon09 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 10, 2022 3:44 pm Here's the full list from Corey Crisan on Twitter.

Re: Offseason 2022
Found this on Twitter, this guy is a UConn student and intern at an agency in Ottawa. He ranked incoming recruiting classes.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1185908126
Here's his methodology:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1185908126
Here's his methodology:
I let him know he's missing Norris, Pfoh, Grant, and Emerson from our incoming class so based on his methodology we're underrated. I also let him know Lindenwood and Anchorage aren't in the CCHA.I give a rating for each player based on their 21-22 performance / draft status. Then I give a multiplier based on their league (i.e. USHL > NAHL). And lastly I factor in the highest rated players more. So quantity can help in some cases, but Quality > Quantity for the most part!

Re: Offseason 2022
What kind of agency is he interning at? The unemployment agency? There's so much missing data in that, we're all dumber for having looked at it.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 7:14 pm Found this on Twitter, this guy is a UConn student and intern at an agency in Ottawa. Re: Offseason 2022
Swedish D-Man Gustav Stjernberg just committed to BG starting with the 23-24 season.
He’s 6’4, and he’ll be playing with Des Moines in the USHL this year.

Sixth leading scorer among Dmen in Sweden's top junior league.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.
