We’ll take a win any way we can get it nowadays.
Finish the sweep tomorrow night.

Came from behind twice down 2 goals, 4-3 Win.
I'm not going to act excited over 1 goal against last place teams.. We should be beating them. It should be expected. Getting excited for a win Like this means you were surprised. Raise the bar and expect more as a fan.
I expect to win tomorrow to and I'm not going to get all excited about it because that should be expected.

I was not expecting to win tonight given the streak Ferris has been on. Sitting there behind 2-0 after the first I was thinking about leaving early to beat the mass exodus out of Big Rapids. The third was quite enjoyable. Really glad I stayed.
Ferris' rink, while small, is a pretty decent place to watch a game.

I’ve never been up there, but I’ve thought about making the trip a few times. Seems like a very intimate environment. Almost like a baby Slate.TalonsUpPuckDown wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 11:59 pm I was not expecting to win tonight given the streak Ferris has been on. Never been either, but one of my favorite hockey memories was when we came back in the playoff series back in 2012. Had the radio playing in the lobby of Founders while working the front desk, cheering on Dan and the others on the team.

Their concessions beat the hell out of BG's. A local butcher, Ebels, supplies their meat items, including beef sticks.mbenecke wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 5:31 amI’ve never been up there, but I’ve thought about making the trip a few times. That was an incredible run. DeSalvo was on fire that series. Nearly made the NCAA tournament as a conference 8 seed. Boys began to believe they had something here at BG.

That’s a sweep on the weekend and on the season against these Ferris State Bulldogs. Time for another diamond cutter.
Come home and beat LSSU.

Emerson had a fantastic forecheck that lead to the ENG. I like his game. Great weekend.

When you look back at how this season has been perceived, then look at the CCHA standings, it's kind of wild. 7th place, with a .500 record, 4 points out of 3rd, with games in hand. They still mostly control their own destiny in the league.
P.S. I absolutely hate the change the CCHA made to the way the standings are displayed. W-L-T-OTW with points being 3-0-2-1 was the simplest and easiest way to actually compare teams.

Watching the Walleye game, lots of BG mentions in OT including the sweep this weekend. There’s gotta be some sort of joint thing we can do with them.

Emerson earns Forward of the Week and Bevilacqua earns Defenseman of the Week. Emerson with 1 goal and 3 assists abs Bevilacqua with 2 goals and 1 assist. Very nicely done.
