Bemidji wins, we go to St. Thomas. Mankato wins, we go to Tech.

Either way, we’re probably not playing past the first round.

Most I've been checked out in some time. Time to hit the reset button after the first round exit next week. Unfortunately the program has spiraled under Ty and there isn't really any common sense argument to keep him around. Big decision for DVDM given some of the alumni connections that Ty has. The last three years have been unacceptable.

I’ll be shocked and I mean shocked if he gets fired.

Nah. Between the early season scandal and 6th place finish, he’s gone

I don’t think so.

Looks like the boys will visit the Mackinac Bridge up close and personal two weeks in a row. Sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I were there. Nothing like two consecutive road trips to the UP.

Geez, they oughta rent out a motel in Munising and stay the week.

Great, another chance to focus on shoes before the season closes. I’m sure Big Game Ty will have them ready for a playoff run. Between the shoes and the CCHA league bias towards Minnesota, this is going to be tough.

Fans discourse about a player who tried to burn the program down should have no bearing on the team’s level of focus. It’s not an excuse.

We’re going to talk our sh!t, we’re going to get swept, and that’ll be that.

Fair, but the fans should do themselves a favor and shift the focus back to the coach if interested at all in winning going forward. If not Big Game Ty is your guy.

It's almost as if the team lost 6 of the top 10 scorers from last season, then the 7th decided he didn't want to be a man and gave his ONE game suspension for stealing, 8th went down with a season ending injury. I can't for the life of me understand why scoring might be a problem.

Based on the predictions here from the week before the season, the team outperformed almost everyone's expectations. I don't think many here gave them a chance to win more than 5 games total all season.

Based on what was released in the report, Eigs comes back for his final year, with a decision made at the end of January. Had he bowed down and let Peter Pan negotiate a change to his ONE game suspension, I'd been saying he needed to go immediately. He proved no one player is greater than the team, and faced the consequences doing so. There's no need to spend the money to buy him out. Contracts have an end date for a reason. Announce it in January, and there's two months to search before the season ends. Announce the hire after the last game of the season. Players then aren't rushed or pressured into a quick decision on the transfer portal.

The best argument for keeping Eigner always includes Swankler. It's always an excuse. That tells you exactly why he needs to go.
