"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

That's pretty cool. Am I the only one surprised that Dayton wanted Pedota?? Brud is not surprising at all IMO.

Bombers vs. The Storm

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

We are going up at least one of the two nights, maybe both. Too bad Tyler Knight was traded, it would have been fun to see THREE Falcons in that game. Hope Pedota gets to dress for this weekend. I also plan on wearing BG gear!!!

Congrats, Brew!!!

Friday it is then....don't think much will be happening on campus with Easter this weekend and all. I assume people will be heading home. Not me though.

Congrats to both Brew and Podota (sp?). I wish I could make it but I will be in DeKalb, Illinois with women's gymnastics. Hopefully these two will finish their degrees if they haven't already. Way to keep BG Hockey out there right where it belongs!

Brew will graduate this May, I believe, as will Jordan. I have no idea where Pedota is regarding graduation, but I know that most of the seniors are on track for graduation either this May, August or December at the latest. Rogo has already graduated, I believe. Hope each and every one of them get their degrees...regardless of the month they get them!!!

GOOD LUCK STEVE AND CHRIS!!!
WE'LL BE THERE FRIDAY NIGHT!!!

As someone who has taken the extended tour of BGSU I couldn't agree more. Thanks for the information Falcon Fanatic.

Do you think I will have to buy tickets ahead of time? What kind of crowds do the storm typically get? I was just planning on getting them at the gate.

You shouldn't have to worry about getting tickets. The Storm average about 3,000 people a game, and the Sports Pit seats 5,500. Plus, Dayton is at the bottom of the division, so I would bet it won't be that full.

Go Falcons!!!

What usually happens is that the guys go play on the weekends, but they still attend classes during the week. I cannot tell you with any degree of accuracy whether or not that is the case with Brew and Pedota, but I do know that that is how it was handled with some of the guys while I was there. Or at least, that's what happens if they sign in the ECHL... If they sign higher than that (Brian Holzinger, Kelly Perreault), they usually leave school.

I do not know how close any of this year's seniors are to graduation, but I do know that Rogo graduated last year and was enrolling in the MBA program this year so he could keep his elligibility. The MBA is a one-year program, so he'll most likely be walking again in May.
