Horrendous third and overtime. Way too passive. Dumb penalties. Willy was none too pleased with his team after the winner.

Both OTs this weekend were not good. Not sure why we are so insistent on taking low quality shots in OT instead of cycling it around looking for a higher quality chance. Also trying to hold the blue line instead of taking it back to the neutral zone and regrouping does not really make sense.

I know it’s boring, but there’s a reason it works. Heck, Bemidji threw it back to their goalie when their guy would have probably won the puck battle.

Their 2nd goal was a direct result of Emerson being hooked down behind the net, 8 feet from the referee staring right at it. And Goose not getting a 10 after that first OT goal tells you they knew they called a crap game.

Willy whines to the officials the whole game so it wouldn't be surprising if some things go uncalled simply on that. It's a bad look, especially since the officials talk to the coaches during warmups. He can get in his two cents then. Needs to worry about coaching his team that can't hold leads.

Good teams don't wait to be Good later. Smoke and mirrors just like football with Pudge the cat, numer 1 recruiting class...... BGs a bottom tier team currently. Sweept by Niagara and two OT losses at home. We may be in the mix for home ice first round but to host a semi final game we need alot to change to finish second.

We’re sitting 2nd in the standings with a gazillion games to go. Time to get it right.

Glad Willy addressed how the team reacted to the end of the game. Stjernberg pushed the net over after the first OT goal that was overturned. Steinman shot the puck at the Bemidji players after the second. Both instances were childish.
