Tim maxwell - new player for 06-07

According to Chesenber, Tim Maxwell (D) is transferring from Maine to BGSU, will be a junior next seaason. I believe that BGSU was very interested in him during Scott's first recruiting period.

I assume he'll have to sit out a year as per NCAA regulations, but this is huge. When we're getting transfers from programs like Maine it goes to show how far Scott has brought our program in the short time that he's been here!

I posted a question about this player on the Maine thread on USCHO. Apparantly he was disappointed by the coach's use of their defensemen. Maxwell likes to get into the play more and generate some offense...Maine's coach tends to hold back the defensemen. He ought to fit in quite well here given Paluch's philosophy on offensive defensemen.
