Absolutely true. But next season ESPN will shift its teams. They tend to go with the World Series champion, the Yankees, the Braves and the Dodgers. They go through some fad teams (Indians, Rockies, Diamondbacks, Mariners and Astros have all been fad teams at one time or another within the last 10 years), but they tend to stick with the same 3-4.TG1996 wrote:That's the belly of the beast you're in. When the Sox fail to repeat as World Series champions, you'll likely be hearing little of them in Ohio (you lucky bastards). On the other hand, I will want to gouge my eyes out when the deluge of excuses as to why they Sox didn't repeat take an excess of time and ink away from other (and in some cases more worthy) stories this winter.
And don't even get me started on the Patriots....
