[quote/]Too bad they will probably ruin the great look of the new boards by putting advertisments on it. Being all white right now makes the ice look HUGE!![/quote]

Be thankful for the ads, otherwise your ticket prices might go up more than you would like. Dashers at the rink I work at in C-bus go for $2000 for a 6-12 foot ad. Put 20 of them around the rink and that is a lot of CASH$$$$

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Yeah, I know it's a necessary evil, just commenting on how great the boards look without ads. The all-white boards sure make the ice look a lot bigger!

.....now if they can jsut get those doors to loosen up a bit...guys have trouble getting them open to get off the ice...kind of amusing right now, but wouldn't be during a game!!

You hide in a closet with a magazine? And I bet you're drinking more than lemonade, buddy!!!
I must admit that I am shocked and appalled at the fact that you beat TG to the chance to expand on my error. I call it an error, of course, because in the company of any other group of people wouldn't twist my comment around and make it filthy stinkin' dirty. You know - respectable people. :P

Now leave the fat kid alone.

I blocked it from my mind before it had a chance to burn my retinas.

That's how he earned that well-deserved nickname!!! He even has it tatooed on his leg!!!

Ever meet him face-to-face?

He came in the lockerroom before a game back in the late 90's. He was/is one big mo fo. Definately someone you want on your side in a fight.

Many times! He often comes back for the alumni golf outing in the summer. No idea if he's coming this year, though. It was at a previous outing that I saw the tatoo on his leg. It's spelled vertically beside a hockey stick. I thought it was very appropriate for him and I told him so. He seemed pretty proud of it!!

Fanatic sent me a bunch of pics. I couldn't figure out how to get them on a gallery here, so I put them in a gallery at my personal site.
