Being in Toledo, I believe BG not having FSD has to do with the Blue Jackets/Red Wings and Tigers/Reds market boundaries. Buckeye in Toledo dropped Fox Sports Ohio after the Indians moved to SportsTime, so I'm sure it's some goofy thing where the networks and team don't want to compete with each other. When Toledo had FSO, Blue Jacket games were blacked out, which makes me think this reasoning.
The longer the walk, the farther you crawl.
Oddly enough BG actually IS inside of the Tigers market, this I know for a fact. Unfortunately Time Warner cable doesn't carry Fox Detroit, period. BG is about as close to Detroit as they get, so the company doesn't offer it, regardless.jpfalcon09 wrote:Being in Toledo, I believe BG not having FSD has to do with the Blue Jackets/Red Wings and Tigers/Reds market boundaries. Sadly, if you order the MLB extra innings package through Time Warner they will black out the Tigers games because we are in their local market...regardless of your willingness to pay extra you cannot watch the Tigers games on Time Warner Cable in BG.
