I love the black bears...my second favorite team. Right there behind my home town Falcons.

I must completely disagree with you on this one, MACMAN.
There is nothing that I like about Maine. Nothing. Well ok, Tim Whitehead was nice to me once. But that's really the only nice thing I can think of to say about it.
I'll be rooting for Michigan State because they're from the CCHA and North Dakota because I always root for them. So if it's wearing green, it's my team. Hopefully at least one of them will make it to the championship game, because I don't think I can stomach listening to Hockey East fans banging on about how they're the most dominant conference if it's a BC/Maine final.
For me, the only CCHA team I can never root for is Michigan. I know the older fans may feel that way about Michigan State, but as a fan from the late 90s, the Wolverines are evil incarnate. I can't help but mentally hear The Imperial March when I see Red Berenson and his team.
Maine: my brother-in-law's cousin used to be the faculty advisor to the Maine hockey team
MSU: Comley's a nice enough guy, but the rest suck eggs
North Dakota: Dean Blaise once complimented Karen on the sweatshirt she was wearing while we shared an elevator in Milwaukee back in '93. He's no longer the ND coach, so the hell with 'em

My love for Maine hockey came from summers in Me and several UM hockey schools. Maine has a great team and is well aside from BG my favorite...more likely than not becasue of exposure and some friends who played their and at BC, and my hated BU. anyway...
BLACK BEARS TAKE THIS CHMAPIONSHIP...i might be wrong, becasue anything can and will happen when teams actually have a chance to play for championships, in playoffs.
