One of the most fun games of the season. The Ice Arena was electric that 3rd period. The student section was all over Gordon Chupp, who was the one that laid out Mcilrath. Everytime he came on the ice we chanted "Chupp's a bitch, Chupp's a bitch!" haha we had a blast in section E last night. After the game as Ferris skated off the ice right in front of us, we picked up the chant again as Chupp skated by. Well I'm sure someone else had to have seen this, but the player skating next to him, #27 Justin Lewandowski took off his glove and gave the student section the middle finger. Way to be classy Ferris. Geez Justin, we weren't even yelling at you and apparently we got under your skin that much. haha I love it. Tell me someone else saw this at the end of the game.

Lewandowski's a junior. Please remember him when/if Ferris plays here next year. I think a simple, drawn out "JUUUUUUS-TIN....JUUUUUUS-TIN..." chant each time he has the puck would play nicely, if his rabbit ears are that sensitive.

I agree completely...the forecast was bleak for these Falcon Icers and they have come out and proven a lot of people wrong. A .500 season was far from expected and is a welcome sight...especially the wins at home...and it's nice that we've been able to come back the last two weekends after losing Friday and get the win on Saturday...I believe that hadn't happened all season per another thread...I just hope this team can keep it together and maybe pull a few shockers in the CCHA tourney.
Good points, both. Before the season, I expected nothing better than last season. Having been pleasantly surprised, my expectations are higher. Again, I want to see effort and intensity, and I didn’t see much of that this weekend or against Ohio State.

I think that's a great idea. There's no need to seriously bust out the language on him, but I did see it too and I had my camera on but that completely threw me for a loop... I was laughing so hard I wasn't able to get a shot of it. I think everyone completely lost it after that happened. It was a good third period and a great night.

Those are the kinds of things we did back in the dark ages @ the arena. I too saw the digit display plus arrrived from the women's BBall game to see Kurt, Kate & Whit be introduced then 2 goals by Maz. Thanks to section "E" for the response to "BG" c everyone 3/1 7:35 :D

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
