That's a nice piece, and a good quote at the end. As a Buffalo fan, Whitmore might be my new favorite player of all time. Rochester native, BG guy, Buffalo Sabre. Can't do much better than that. Kevin Bieksa tweaked his knee early in the season opener and is looking at an MRI. And somehow I missed/forgot about Rob Blake signing with the Sharks, but he had two assists in the opener.
